Do you feel like you are stuck in a never-ending cycle of stress and anxiety? Living in this constant heightened state wreaks havoc on our mental and physical health and wellness. This workshop can help you break the cycle.

 

 

The 90-minute workshop includes:

  • Discussion about stress, its impact on the body and nervous system, and polyvagal theory.

  • Learn self-care tools and practices to create a resilient and less reactive nervous system.

  • Restorative yoga practice with reflexology and aromatherapy.

  • Take home resource guide to help you start some new habits.

Yin Yoga and the Upper Body

Saturday, December 7, 3pm-4:30pm

When we are born, we did not get a maintenance manual for our bodies. Now cell phones, computers, and endless hours at a desk result in pain and tension in our upper body. If this sounds like you, you need this workshop. It will increase your knowledge of anatomy to create more postural awareness, and includes a yin yoga practice designed for the upper body.

The 90-minute workshop includes:

  • Discussion about the anatomy of the upper body and the connective tissue, fascia and the role it plays in postural tension.

  • Yin yoga session with poses for the upper body. Perfect for anyone that works at a desk.

  • A resource guide with great tips and practices to combat chronic postural tension and pain.

  • Limited to 3 participants.

As we age many people begin to suffer from low back and hip pain. Runners, cyclists, gardeners, weight lifters, and anyone who sits for long hours know how this feels. This workshop will increase your knowledge of anatomy to create more postural awareness and includes a yin yoga practice designed for the lower body.
